For far too long, Africa — the cradle of civilization, the birthplace of mathematics, governance, science, and countless innovations — has been portrayed as the world’s “sick continent.” Colonial narratives and decades of external manipulation deliberately positioned Africa as a place defined by poverty, corruption, and dependency.
